The State of Texas honors Texas Veterans in a very unique way.  Funds are set aside to help Texas Veterans buy a home at interest rates below the market rates.  The Texas Veteran Land Board program is independent of the Veteran's Administration program.  Therefore, even if you have used your VA benefit, you may still be eligible for this state loan program.

The Maximum home loan amount is $417,000 through the TVLB.

Mobile homes are not allowed in the program.
